						Presence, Plan, Provision and
						PromiseRod and Sherry Boyd

					 We’ve
enjoyed the last three months of itineration ministry!
Thank you to all who have prayed for us during this season
of reconnecting with family, friends and supporters. Your
prayers are our covering of grace, especially important
during this time of heavy travel and contact. The Lord has
kept us safe and healthy as we have ministered in churches
in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Massachusetts, Wisconsin and
Pennsylvania. Our message to the churches has been about God’s
faithfullness at these disruptive times. We’ve shared four principles from
the book of Joshua that have guided our ministry as missionaries and have
become more real to us in 2020.

Press in to God’s PRESENCE in order
to clearly hear His voice and experience His peace (Joshua 1:5)
Pursue God’s PLAN for your life,
made real in His presence, even when circumstances are against you
		(Joshua 1:6)
Plant to God’s PROVISION. We step
out in faith, knowing that we reap God’s provision according to what we
		sow in faith (Joshua 3:14-17)
Persevere to God’s PROMISE. When we
are faithful in persevering in God’s plan, He is faithful to fulfill His
		promise (Joshua 4:7)
	 We
are scheduled to return to Panama in February pending any
virus-related setbacks. International travel in and out of Panama resumed
mid-October. We are trusting the Lord for budget needs and other clearances.
We continue to direct Panama’s ChildHope school ministry during these months
in the States, maintaining sponsorship and relief assistance to schools.
This funding has helped to sustain virtual education initiatives and provide
food and medicine to families that have been impacted by the virus and
economic shut-down. Our February return is timely as schools will re-open in
March 2021 for the new school year. We have also resumed LARTC construction, nearly
completing the first floor of the training addition in August, pending A/C
purchase and installation. By mid-December, our construction team will
finish the remaining 600 feet of block security wall along the left side and
back of the property (yellow lines on the photo to the right).
	 A
year ago, we announced our HOMESTRETCH campaign to complete
LARTC construction by the end of this year. Even though we haven’t yet
crossed the finish line, we will persevere until God’s promise is fulfilled!
We hope to finish remaining work by mid-year 2021:

		Phase 4 Training Addition –
Interior sheetrock walls, ceilings, electrical and lighting, bathrooms,
ceiling, doors, air conditioning and paint.
		Exterior – Building façade,
paint, security and retaining walls, entrance and gate, drainage, road
and parking, exterior lighting and landscaping.
