The wedding of your daughter… it’s a mother’s
crowning glory… and a day a father dreads.
Someone once said you don’t need “dying grace” until you’re
dying. Having teenagers would be
the same. For this father,
Stephanie’s wedding day ranks right up there close.
But God gave us His special grace for this special occasion. Stephanie and Andrew were married in Seattle on August 11 in
a beautiful ceremony at Shoreline Community Church and reception in Arlington.
The wedding was a great time for family.
Andrew is from Connecticut. He
had several family members come from the East Coast.
They are adamant baseball (Red Sox) fans.
Andrew and Stephanie invited both families to the Mariner game the day
after the wedding. They were also
able to squeeze in a gift opening. Our
family really came through for us. We
also felt like out-of-towners. But
our family opened their hearts and homes, helping in so many ways. Thank you.
We’ve
enjoyed some quality time with Stephanie and Andrew after they returned from the
honeymoon. They are enjoying
setting up their household. Stephanie begins her new third-grade teaching assignment in
Bothell next week. Andrew returns
to school soon to finish a second degree in secondary education.
Thank
you for continuing to pray for Stephanie and now including Andrew.
And thank you for praying mom and dad too!
