HELP! It’s not what you think. Our problem isn’t knowledge… it’s equipment. Teaching computer isn’t optional today, not even in Panama. All but a few of our 20 Christian schools have some type of computer lab. Much of the equipment is outdated and obsolete. We want to do better. We’re inviting computer “techies” to come and assemble, repair, set up and teach computers in school labs sometime during the June 15-July 10 period.

We need people who know hardware and software, including peer-to-peer networking, willing to give a week or two.

We need equipment. Two building teams are coming to Panama. Team members can bring components—mother-boards, processors, memory, hard drives, video cards, sound cards, CD ROMs, network cards, hubs, mice, Windows with license, etc. Old equipment and components are often available free of charge as businesses upgrade.

We need funds. We need to buy cases, keyboards, monitors, etc.

What do you think? If you’re interested, send us an email at Panorama@Boyds.org. If you’re able to help with an offering, please send your offering to:
